My Journey
I started going to yoga as a way to warm down and stretch my body. Later, I fell in love with vinyasa and power yoga styles. After years of continuous practice in hatha, vinyasa, bikhram and yin styles, I got my training as a yoga teacher in Rishikesh, India - The birth place of yoga!
I am a published author with a MA in journalism. Yoga has helped me recover from Rugby injuries and manage stress in the corporate world. My style is influenced by a drive to achieve results by pushing my limits and practicing mindfulness. When practiced correctly, yoga can bring healing for the body and the mind.
I am a 500 hour certified yoga teacher recognized by Yoga Alliance USA, International Yoga Federation and Indian Yoga Association. I specialize in creating custom yoga flows for athletes, business professionals and children.
Most recently, I have spent some time learning Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi in China. I am excited to incorporate Tai Chi and Qi Gong techniques into my classes to provide variety for my students.
